Thanks for your message about the fake articles. There are indeed hundreds of articles created by a hacker who vandalized the entire site, and moved every article dozens of times with a hacking bot. I don't know what more can be done about it.

Yours is the first wikimedia/wikipedia type of inquiry made to the site. We are in serious need of constructive wiki editors here, and I hope you will take some time to help improve the site. Thanks! Castellanet 12:41, 20 March 2006 (CST)

Thanks for your reply. I've tried deleting, but am not sure what that does since I can still see the page in a list of pages. One way to work around this is to redirect the fake pages to the appropriate page. The hacker just did redirect loops. Castellanet 16:12, 21 March 2006 (CST)

Clean Up

As I understand it, each Wikipedia language operates independently. I have met some English wikipedians, but I haven’t even been to the German site since I don’t speak German (except to say something like <<Ish sprechen kien Deutsch>>). Let me know if there is something I can do to help though.

Site contributions

I completely agree that we need more contributors. I solicit more whenever help I get a chance. I have literally asked thousands of people, most every contribution other than mine to this site I have directly soliticed. I have asked multiple wikipedia editors to contribute, but for whatever reason, they have chosen not to help. It would help if others make the request. Castellanet 14:32, 27 March 2006 (CST)

Blocking Proxy Vandals

Hi Partaner -

I've seen your blocks of the vandals, and want to thank you for doing that. I'm not sure how you know the IP to block, but it seems to be helping. The vandalism of the site seems to gotten better with you on patrol! Another great help to this site.
